ESPN Highlights...

I watched it live, but ESPN showed highlights of the end of the Washington-USC game. I need not have bothered. The funniest part was when Linda Cohn announced, "look at the seconds clicking off!" That was impossible, as ESPN graphics totally hid the clock as it presumably counted down. Brilliant.

Kentucky now has its moral victory. If you can call losing by a TD at home to a weak South Carolina team a moral victory.

Auburn was never in it against Arkansas. The SEC is as tough as ever, as Georgia found when Tennessee roared back to win at Georgia. I wonder how much longer Georgia will keep Mark Richt around? He has gotten their program to a certain point but can't seem to get over the hump into being a truly dominant team.

Purdue was the worst 4-0 team in the country. Now, they may be the worst 4-2 team in the country.

Pittsburgh may have turned it around. This program seems to be up and coming. They will be a force to contend with in the Big East this year.

The craziest halftime score of the week had to be Duke 14, Alabama 10.
